In short
In your browser
Your sound preference is saved in a small cookie on .raioviajante.com, so every raioviajante site remembers it. The cookie is created only when you switch sound on or off, holds just that choice, and lasts one year. It is not used for tracking.
If you sign in with GitHub to comment, the giscus script that runs on this page keeps a sign-in value in your browser's local storage for dump.raioviajante.com, under the name giscus-session. dump does not read or use it; giscus and GitHub decide how long it stays valid. It is not created unless you sign in.
On the way to the page
Like any website, the host (Vercel) receives standard request data — IP address, browser and the page asked for — to deliver it.
Comments and feeds
Comments go through giscus to GitHub Discussions. They load when the comments section comes near the screen as you scroll (on a short article, that can be as soon as the page opens), or when you press Load comments in a browser that cannot detect scrolling. Before then this page does not contact giscus or GitHub. Once they load, your browser connects to giscus.app and GitHub. Signing in and posting happen with GitHub, under GitHub's privacy policy; dump never sees your password. The RSS feed is a plain file — feed readers request it like any page.
